After 10 amazing years together, we’re finally making it official! We’re so excited to share this joyous occasion with all of you.

2009

Chris and Jac first crossed paths at a college Halloween party in 2009. While Jac had no memory of the encounter, Chris was captivated by her Frida Kahlo costume and her charmingly broken Spanish. Five years later, he came across her artwork on Facebook, sparking a conversation. When Jac asked, “How do we know each other?” Chris replied, “I don’t know, but I remember your Frida Kahlo costume.”

2015

After months of late-night conversations and a few missed plans, Chris and Jac finally met for a day trip to San Diego. Their itinerary included Daiso, Stone Brewery, and an unexpectedly intimate birthday party. Jac, an aspiring artist, and Chris, a free-spirited future teacher with a love for adventure, quickly hit it off. Chris introduced Jac to his world of traveling, hiking, and surfing. Their favorite memory was a trip to Joshua Tree, where, after sharing beers and a breathtaking sunset, they realized their feelings for each other and made things official.

2024

9 years quickly passed, and on December 17, 2023, Chris proposed to Jac in front of a beautiful cathedral in Santa Fe, New Mexico. They have spent all of 2024 planning for their wedding. In the midst of planning, Jac and Chris made the huge decision to move in together. They have made a cozy home with their two pets, Carmen and Dingo.

On May 3, 2025 they officially tie the knot!
